The Mission
This e-portfolio was created to highlight the intersection of sport, leadership, and communication. It serves as a space where I connect my experience in basketball, coaching, and media with the concepts explored in my master’s program.
Through written reflections, projects, and podcast episodes this site showcases how sport can be used as a platform for leadership development, education, and personal growth. My goal is to create content that young adults, coaches, and aspiring professionals can engage with as they think about their own paths on and off the court.

My name is Akil Reese, and I am a graduate student and basketball coach. My background as a former student-athlete and current coach has shaped my passion for player development, leadership, and helping young people navigate like through sport.
